NCMS Speaker and Workshop Presenter Policy
As a speaker or presenter, the NCMS will not charge a registration fee for you on the day(s) you are speaking and/or presenting a workshop. On that presentation day(s), there is no charge for breakfast and lunch, and you will also receive free admission to any workshops or general sessions that you may wish to attend. Please note that the President's Dinner on Tuesday evening is a separate charge, regardless of the day(s) that you speak.
You are also invited to attend the Welcome Reception on Monday evening at no cost and can visit the Exhibit Hall during established exhibit hours. Other days and events outside the scheduled speaking or presentations must be paid by you by registering.
You must forward (e-mail or mail) a copy of your presentation, your bio, and a brief abstract of your presentation to the Program Chairperson, Rhonda Peyton no later than April 23rd. This will allow the program to reflect a summary of material to be presented so seminar attendees can attend those workshops that best meet their needs.
It is important that you identify your audio and video needs. We have limited resources and therefore any equipment you can bring with you is greatly appreciated. Reflect what, if any equipment is needed on your registration form (on-line or hard copy).
All seminar general and breakout sessions are held in the Hotel.
NCMS Returned Check & Credit Card Policy
It is NCMS policy to assess a $20 fee for all checks received by NCMS that are returned due to insufficient funds, stop payment requests, etc. The individual is responsible for the original charge plus the $20 fee in order to complete processing. This applies to all NCMS-related products and services including, but not limited to, member dues, ISP applications, and workbooks, Annual Training Seminar registration fees, advertising space, and NCMS Store items. This policy also applies to credit card disputes originated by the individual for legitimate charges. Please call us directly if you see a charge on your credit card from NCMS and are unsure of what it is for. If the charge is our error, we will credit your card immediately. If it is a legitimate charge for any NCMS product or service and the charge was disputed, the individual will be charged a $20 fee in addition to the original charge.
